The "Sugar Quay" residential building is in an exclusive location right next to the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. The element façade combines large dimensions with a wide variety of material types and shapes. These include fiberglass-reinforced concrete pilaster strips, natural stone surfaces with individual suspension and projecting windows with all-glass corners. With element weights of up to 2.1 tons, the logistics and assembly posed a particular challenge. The two-part element corners in particular demanded creativity. Each corner element was therefore initially pre-assembled in the factory at Feldhaus in order to check all connections of the 6 m wide elements.
