SHORT DESCRIPTION

"Green Wave" in Essen's West Quarter. As part of the new construction of the office building, the focus was not only on an attractive design of the façade, but also on ecologically sensible thermal insulation and security. In addition to the natural stone material on the wall and end surfaces, the composite insulation system façade has tilt and turn windows with magnetic and bolt contacts made of heat protection glass as well as wallpaper and revolving doors made of bullet-resistant glazing. The self-supporting façade is constructed over several storeys and is powder-coated in aluminium in parts. The visual highlight is the polygonal mullion-transom façade with radial steel substructure and diagonal parapet. The glass fish-bellied monopitch roof was provided with skylights for ventilation purposes and visually appealing back-coloured ESG panes were used in front of ceilings and roof structures.

Our services

  • Installation of a natural stone curtain wall
  • Entrance hall, company restaurant and meeting rooms on the 2nd floor with powder-coated aluminium facade construction
  • Self-supporting, highly thermally insulated facade construction
  • Conference rooms on the 2nd floor in the ceiling area with glass roof as a monopitch roof
  • Ground floor and 1st floor with anti-throw-through glazing and alarm spiders
  • Exterior sun protection on all facades of the office wings
