SHORT DESCRIPTION

The new construction of the Hammerbrookhöfe in a central and attractive location on Hamburg's Mittelkanal on an area that first had to be cleared of remaining traces of the Second World War was to be given a modern and sustainable face as a new quarter for Deutsche Bahn. The tailor-made solution comprises approx. 10,000 m² distributed over seven storeys, an underground car park and five inner courtyards and is characterised in particular by its façade design. The special design of curved thermal insulation glazing in accordance with TRAV and P4A requirements with rounded corners, horizontal window bands and dark clinker bricks at the bases and parapets results in a successful visual blend of classic, modern and the typical Hamburg cityscape.

Our services

  • Window construction as a special development in the appearance of a mullion and transom façade
  • Rounded corners with curved glass panels
  • DGNB Silver
