Feldhaus Fenster + Fassaden ist ein familiengeführtes Unternehmen in der 5. Generation. Gegründet 1901 in Emsdetten als damalige Schlosserei durch Clemens Benediktus Mersch avancierte Feldhaus Mitte der 60er Jahre zu einem zuverlässigen Anbieter für Fenster‑, Fassaden- & Türlösungen auf dem nationalen Markt.

In 2014, Feldhaus ceased all activities in the consumer market and focused exclusively on the realization of large-scale projects. Due to the focus on multi-project management, Feldhaus is one of the leading providers of special façade solutions in Germany and successfully implements numerous projects in the B2B sector in major European cities.

Feldhaus facades originated in the small town of Emsdetten. Even today, we can proudly claim that almost all Feldhaus solutions are still manufactured on site at the company headquarters. Our project teams benefit from an uninterrupted communication chain to the production and optimal operational coordination processes.

Benedictus Klemens Mersch founds Feldhaus, at that time still under the name "Mersch" as a smithy & locksmith's shop in Emsdetten.
1948
Clemens Mersch joins the company
1901–1950
Regional activities in the field of blacksmith & locksmith trade
1949
Heinz Feldhaus starts his apprenticeship at Mersch in Emsdetten
1950–1958
Main activity in the field of building locksmithery
1958
Heinz Feldhaus passes his master craftsman's examination. Start of aluminium processing.
1960–1962
First major projects with all-aluminium window constructions. Extensions, conversions & new buildings.
1966
Expansion to facade construction & nationalization of the business field
1978
Dipl. Ing. Manfred Feldhaus joins the company. Change of name to Feldhaus Fenster + Fassaden.
1979
Commissioning of the current production site at Grevener Damm in Emsdetten
1980
First major projects abroad & thus internationalization of the company
1982
Start of the conversion to CAD systems in the project office
1984
Start of industrial production of windows and facades. Use of profile and sheet metal processing centres

Complete internal conversion and reorganisation of production

On 22.06.2001 the 100 year celebration takes place on the company premises with numerous guests.
