The Berlin Arch, which is impressively located directly at the entrance to the city centre of Hamburg, comprises a proud 30,000 m² of rental space. The architectural masterpiece spans a length of 140m above a canal basin - a powerful archway at the interface between water and city. Conceived as a house within a house, the construction consists of a massive inner part whose ceiling slabs are suspended from the all-embracing steel arches. A huge glass shell encloses the construction like a comb, making the overall appearance light, transparent and floating. The winter gardens, which are designed as six huge green spaces, ensure a harmonious balance between nature and the working world.
