SHORT DESCRIPTION

The new LVM office complex in Münster was built as a 63 m high crystal-shaped structure with a total of over 6,000 m² of glass facades. The glazed elements of the inward and outward sloping facades were developed as a special construction based on the architectural specifications. The special construction was developed and constructed in a 3D model from the design to the completion of the façade. Due to the fact that this is a double-skin façade, the external corners in particular are unusual. Ventilation lamellas in the upper area of the floors ensure permanent ventilation of the façade corridors, which are used to create a comfortable indoor climate. At the same time, the project was awarded a gold certificate by the German Sustainable Building Council during the planning phase for its particularly ecological construction method.

Our services

  • Special construction of the glazed elements
  • In order to make the given geometry possible, the facade views were broken up into individual triangles.
  • Ventilation lamellas in the upper area of the floors
  • Delivery of all elements "just in time
  • Facades sloping inwards and outwards
  • Unusual corner details
  • Closed glass bridge connecting both buildings
  • Gold certificate from the German Sustainable Building Council
