Two eras come together in the old and new LVA buildings in Münster. Art in the new building is just as natural as functionality and environmental awareness. The exposed concrete on the ceilings and an ingenious window system allow the new building to do without air conditioning. Two almost 20m high semicircles enclose a large inner courtyard. The vaulted walls allow the rooms to sway gently. On the outside, the windows shield the building, while on the inside, a diverse spatial landscape opens up, in which art is a recurring theme. The rooms are oriented around a glass central axis. This light, constructive round building stands in contrast to the massive star from the 1960s. The symbiosis of two architectural eras.
