"Today an employee, a colleague, one of my most important companions, a friend is leaving us." With these words, owner Manfred Feldhaus opened the farewell of our technical managing director Klaus von Rekowski, who after 36 years in the house Feldhaus, on Friday 28 June 2019, his last working day.
In 1983, at the tender age of 24, "KvR" joined Feldhaus as a project manager after successfully completing his studies. There he very quickly advanced to become the man for the special details. After successful constructions and the handling of many well-known projects, the appointment as deputy technical manager followed in 1993, and after the retirement of the then incumbent in 1999, the position as technical manager. After the operational resignation of senior boss Heinz Feldhaus, the position of technical managing director followed in 2006, which Klaus held until 28 June.
After a "relaxed" last day at work and a big breakfast round with his employees, the company's management circle gathered at the company's Future Focus (see photo) to bid farewell to Klaus von Rekowski. After a final presentation, the senior executives accompanied Klaus in historic vehicles to his adopted home of Bad Iburg, where the assembled group rounded off the day. The man of many successful projects concluded: "I can only say that I am proud to have been a part of Feldhaus for so long and will continue to be so. I find it remarkable how much commitment our team has shown to meet challenges and I am glad that I am leaving the company at a point where many young colleagues are anchored in positions of responsibility. Thank you all for a great day, a great time and I wish you only the best for the future!". Klaus von Rekowski will remain actively involved with the company in an advisory capacity.
