What it is
The unitised façade moves work from site into the works. We fabricate storey-high units including glazing, insulation, flashing and solar-control preparation, test them under works conditions and install them floor by floor from inside. That shortens the programme, reduces weather dependency and makes quality demonstrable.
When it fits
- From about 5,000 m² of façade area
- Tall buildings, tight sites, short programmes
- High requirements for airtightness, weathertightness and sound insulation
Limits
- High design lead time and early decision maturity
- Late changes are expensive
